20 Tips To Sell Your Home For Top Dollar in Today's Market

3. Make Sure ALL Exterior Lights are in Working Order & replace all outdoor light bulbs.

4. Wash ALL Windows (inside & out). You don't want to take away from great views with dirty windows!

5. Clean Out Your Garage. Consider getting a storage unit to store any non-essential items. 

6. Add a Pop of Color to the exterior of your home by planting flowers (if climate allows).

14. Fix Anything that is Broken. Buyers will notice broken items and will often offer less for homes with several broken or deferred maintenance items. If buyers don't catch it, their home inspectors will. 

15. UNCLUTTER YOUR HOUSE. Thinning out your closets & pantries will show buyers how much room is actually available.

17. Organize the Kitchen. Store any non-essential, small appliances & clean all surfaces to a shine. 

18. Before Showings, Empty ALL Trash Bins. Don't forget to hide or put away dirty laundry as well.

20. Replace Light Bulbs with New Ones on the Interior. Make sure all light switches work and are easy to operate. Replace any broken or discolored electrical outlet covers too.
